And this is why Goldens are the best dogs ever. This old dog (look at all the white on her face) was just relaxing, but now she is just going to be patient and let the kitten pounce and nom because, well, it’s a kitten, you have to sort of expect this thing from little ones. *long-suffering sigh*
The Golden I grew up with would happily flop down on the floor in the middle of a Girl Scout meeting for pets and cuddles, even though kids aren’t necessarily the most gentle when PUPPY!! - I don’t think I ever saw her so much as growl at anyone her whole damn life.
